Notifications & Alerts
Shoplogix IMS sends email alerts when equipment state changes. You control which events you receive, when alerts are muted, and whether you prefer a real-time or daily digest format.
Alert Types

Sensor sleep alerts indicate that a sensor's energy harvesting storage is depleted and it has temporarily stopped transmitting. The sensor should resume normal operation once it recharges. If a sensor remains in sleep state for an extended period, inspect the installation environment — low ambient energy (for batteryless sensors) may require repositioning.
Notification subscriptions are managed at the customer account level — your preferences apply across all your assets.
Managing Your Preferences
In Insights, go to your notification settings to:
- Subscribe to specific alert types
- Unsubscribe to stop receiving an alert type
- Snooze an individual alert for 7 days (you can re-snooze after it expires)
- Enable daily digest — when enabled, individual alarm emails are replaced with a single daily summary
Quiet Periods
To prevent alert fatigue, the platform enforces a 12-hour quiet period per event type per asset by default. If the same machine or trap triggers the same alert type again within 12 hours, the duplicate is suppressed.
Daily Digest
The digest aggregates all your active alerts — new, ongoing, resolved, and snoozed — into a single email delivered once per 24-hour period. When you enable the digest, you will not receive individual alarm emails for subscribed event types; everything appears in the digest instead.
