Machine Health Dashboard
The Machine Health dashboard is the primary fleet view for vibration-based condition monitoring. To open it, navigate to Insights and select Machine Health Monitoring from the main navigation.
The dashboard combines trend charts for fleet-level context with a filterable machine table for investigating individual assets.
Alarm Status Trend Chart
The alarm status trend chart at the top of the page shows how the distribution of alarm states across your fleet has changed over time. Each data point shows the count of machines in Alarm, Acknowledged, and Good states at that point in the selected period.
Use this chart to answer questions like:
- Is my overall alarm rate increasing or decreasing?
- Did a recent maintenance campaign reduce the number of machines in Alarm?
- Are there seasonal patterns in my fleet's condition?
Machine Alarms Chart
The Machine Alarms chart shows the breakdown of current alarm states across machines in your fleet as a bar chart grouped by state. This gives you an at-a-glance count of how many machines are currently in each alarm state.
Threshold Crossings Chart
The Threshold Crossings chart shows the count of threshold crossing events over a selected period, broken down by metric (for example, X-axis velocity, Y-axis velocity). Use this chart to identify machines that are generating frequent borderline readings — an early indicator of developing issues even if the machine has not yet entered a sustained alarm state.
Machine Data Table
The table below the charts lists machines filtered by their current alarm state. The table title reflects the active filter — for example, "Machines in Alarm State."
Default Columns
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Equipment Name | Machine name as configured in Insights |
| Alarm Status | Current alarm state: Alarm, Acknowledged, or Clear |
| Days in Status | Number of days the machine has been in its current alarm state |
| Alarm Status Changed At | Timestamp of the most recent alarm state transition |
| MAC Address | MAC address of the installed Eversensor |
| X (Tangential) Vibration | Overall vibration velocity on the X axis (in/s) |
| Y (Axial) Vibration | Overall vibration velocity on the Y axis (in/s) |
| Z (Radial) Vibration | Overall vibration velocity on the Z axis (in/s) |
Additional columns (Facility, Location, Site, Sensor Status, Last Reading, State of Charge, Signal Health, Thresholds, Max G's, and others) are available but hidden by default. Right-click any column header to show or hide columns.
Filtering by Alarm State
Click the alarm state selector above the table (or the colored indicator in the chart) to switch between showing machines in Alarm, Acknowledged, or Good (Clear) states.
Sorting
Click any column header to sort by that column. Click again to reverse the sort direction.
Opening a Machine in a New Tab
Right-click any row to open the context menu and select Open charts in new tab. This opens the machine detail view without navigating away from the dashboard.
Exporting to Excel
Use the export button in the table toolbar to download the current filtered and sorted view as an .xlsx file. Exported data reflects the columns currently visible in the table.
Navigating to Machine Detail
Click any row in the table to open the machine detail view. The detail view shows:
- Historical sensor readings with interactive charts
- FFT spectral analysis and waterfall charts
- Alarm state history
- Threshold configuration
- Sensor installation details
