Steam Trap Dashboard

The dashboard is the default landing page when you navigate to Steam Trap Monitoring in Shoplogix IMS. It gives you a fleet-level view of your steam trap program and a prioritized list of traps that need attention.

Coverage Chart​

The coverage chart shows what percentage of your steam traps have an active Eversensor installed versus traps that have been registered but have no sensor assigned. Use this chart to track deployment progress across your fleet and identify gaps in monitoring coverage.

States Chart​

The states chart shows the current distribution of trap conditions across your entire fleet as a proportional donut chart. Each section corresponds to one of the conditions described in Trap Conditions. Click a section to filter the triage list below to only traps in that condition.

Triage List​

The triage list is the primary working view on the dashboard. It shows every trap that is not in a Good state — traps that have a detected issue and may require inspection or follow-up.

Each entry in the triage list shows:

For traps in an Unexpected Cold condition, the entry shows COLD in place of an estimated steam loss value. For traps in other failure states, an estimated cost of steam loss is shown where available.

Click any entry to go to that trap's detail page.

Site Warnings​

Banners at the top of the dashboard alert you to account-level issues that affect detection. The most common is the Steam Shutdown banner, which appears when the Steam Shutdown flag is active on one or more of your sites. While the flag is set, Unexpected Cold detection is suppressed across all traps for the affected sites. The banner includes a link to the site settings where the flag can be cleared.

Multi-Site Navigation​

If your account includes multiple sites, use the Sites selector in the navigation bar to switch context. The charts and triage list always reflect the currently selected site or combination of sites.

Armstrong SAGE Integration​

If your account has the Armstrong SAGE integration enabled, the dashboard entry point routes to a SAGE-specific layout. The SAGE dashboard includes the same coverage and states charts alongside SAGE-specific cost metrics — steam loss, fuel used, and CO2 emissions due to steam loss — calculated using the SAGE methodology. If you have SAGE-enabled sites selected alongside non-SAGE sites, a banner will prompt you to visit the SAGE application for the SAGE-specific data.
